Jolly Kebabs Essendon

The boss here is really kind and helpful, plus the food I got was great. In the middle of one night, I was stuck in that area because my tram terminated early there. All the public transportation had stopped, and my phone was out of charge. The boss here saved my day by letting me charge my phone so I could order a cab and even offered me some chips to cheer me up. I’m so grateful for him. I will definitely visit again when I come across this area in the future.

Kebabs was good, juicy from the meat and crunchy from the salad all wrapped in a nice thin pita. Loving the HSP, meat was just nice and not tough and the chips was still crunchy not like other places that makes the chips very soggy!!

Can’t lie, we were on the way to the airport to pick up some family, but were in need of a feed at 11pm, and who came along to save the day? These wonderful people being open that late. Kebab? Slapped. Tatziki? Demolished. Chips? Maaattteeee I don’t know what you seasoned those with but damn those were some tasty chips. Phat chance I won’t be venturing to Essendon for a long time, but this place will always be in my heart for the grouse meal that they produced, so I thank you ladies that served us.

Recommended by family and true to their word, it was great food, quick and friendly service. Steady stream of happy customers. The kebabs were terrific as were the falafel 's. Hsp were new to me and were great. Love the sauces.

After a long time I returned here. Must say HSP with a combination of various sauces was amazing. Besides, baklava is a real treat! Looking forward to take my family there for a meal.

Do yourself a favour and visit Jolly Kebab Station. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – a must is the home made baklava, without a doubt it’s the best i’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend!

Very nice HSP, bit stingy with the size of the large box as it had dividers.

This is one of the beat kebab shops in the city. And I’ve tried many. It also helps they’re across the street from where I live. Great flavour. Great service. If you’re getting chips, make sure you get the jolly spice seasoning on them. So good! They’re selection of soft drinks is a stand out as well. Where else can you get a cherry coke with your HSP?! Highly recommend.

I just moved to the area & drunkenly crawled myself over to Jolly’s. I always crave kebabs after a drink & these guys did not disappoint! Chips were amazing, perfect amount of seasoning & falafel kebab was a great choice. Glad I risked the fine for leaving after curfew! Massive serving, the lettuce was fresh, onion was uncooked or under cooked but went okay. Might just request it’s cooked more when I go back, tomato was fresh & they listened to the extra cheese. The pita was also really nice but the falafel was the best part! Usually I find they’re super greasy but despite it being late at night these falafels were INCREDIBLE! I don’t know if you make them there but they’re the best. I’m keen to try the falafel HSP & Turkish bread next time. The fact that my generally sensitive tummy was not all fckd up the next morning was a surprise & is a sign that this is a solid kebab shop. I’ll be back again soon, glad to find a new kebab place in my new area.

Been to Jolly heaps and have enjoyed my meal every time . It's always prepared well and tastes great. Along with the good food, Jolly Kebabs has some of the best customer service I've experienced. The owners and staff are super nice people, going out of their way to create a great experience for customers; even offering my friends and I some tea on a cold night.
